Round 4 Of Tell It Like It Is PAC’s 10 Reasons Donald Trump Is Afraid to Debate
Round 4 Of Tell It Like It Is PAC’s 10 Reasons Donald Trump Is Afraid to Debate ARLINGTON, VA — Today, Tell It Like It Is PAC released the fourth ad in a ten-part video series highlighting why Donald Trump is afraid to commit to the first Republican National Committee (RNC) debate on August 23rd. The spot drops two days after Tell It Like It Is PAC hosted Governor Chris Christie as a special guest for a town hall in Salem, NH and after Governor Christie challenged Donald Trump to show up on the debate stage. The underlying message behind the digital campaign is clear: Donald Trump is afraid to debate because he knows that Governor Christie will bring the fight directly to him. Unlike the other candidates in the race, Governor Christie is not afraid to prosecute his failures and disqualifying behavior. Round three takes Trump to task for his constant whining about the debate guidelines - he’s said that is it “unfair” that he should debate, he’s called the moderators “nasty,” and just the other day he stated that he won’t sign an RNC pledge which is required to participate. Trump is using every excuse in the book to try to avoid facing off with Governor Christie on the debate stage. As Trump’s former Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney said, “Trump may well be afraid to match wits with the former New Jersey governor on stage.” |
