Tell It Like It Is Launches New Ad Featuring Christie Ripping Into Trump For Hezbollah Comments: “Fool” ARLINGTON, VA — Today, Tell It Like It Is PAC released its latest ad of the 2024 cycle featuring Governor Chris Christie taking former president Donald Trump to task for praising the terrorist group Hezbollah as “very smart” and criticizing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Entitled “Fool,” the :60 second spot will be featured across digital platforms. Trump’s comments occurred during the deadliest assault on the Jewish people since the Holocaust and as Iranian backed Hezbollah is said to be “fully prepared” to join Hamas’ fight against Israel. Governor Christie swiftly denounced Trump’s remarks and labeled him a “fool,” who has once again has shown that he is unfit to serve as President of the United States. Christie lambasted Trump: “He’s a fool. Only a fool would make those kinds of comments. Only a fool would give comments that could give aid and comfort to Israel’s adversary.” Trump’s comments continue a troubling pattern of sympathy for some of the world’s worst actors. He has previously called Chinese Community Party leader Xi Jinping “brilliant” and straight out of “central casting,” and he’s gushed about authoritarians Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un. |

Reporter: The ties between Hezbollah and Iran are far greater, far more organized. Reporter: Hezbollah is Lebanon’s most powerful armed group and is committed to Israel’s destruction. Donald Trump: You know, Hezbollah is very smart, they’re all very smart. Chris Christie: He’s a fool. Only a fool would make those kind of comments. Only a fool would give comments that can give aid and comfort to Israel’s adversary. This is someone who cares not about the American people, not about the people of Israel, but he cares about one person, and one person only - the person he sees in the mirror when he wakes up in the morning. We cannot once again nominate a fool like this and get him anywhere near the Presidency of the United States. And having a fool like Donald Trump who would make those comments in the tone that he made them, has proven to folks that he has no business being President of the United States.
